The Role

We’re looking for an IoT Hardware Engineer who lives in the world of circuits, soldering irons, and rapid prototype development. Your work will shape the physical layer of our platform — from early breadboard concepts to functional PCB-based prototypes. This is a hands-on, in-office role (5 days a week) where you’ll own the creation, assembly, and testing of real hardware.

What You’ll Do:

• Build IoT hardware prototypes end-to-end — sensors, microcontrollers, connectivity modules, and power systems.
• Assemble and solder components (THT and SMD) onto custom PCBs and development boards.
• Work with PCB schematics, layouts, and assist in design iterations before fabrication.
• Integrate modules such as ESP32, LoRa, BLE, Wi-Fi, and environmental sensors into functional units.
• Debug circuits, diagnose hardware faults, and refine prototype revisions quickly.
• Create wiring diagrams, test setups, and validation procedures for each prototype.
• Collaborate with embedded and AI engineers to align hardware with system requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of PCB concepts (schematics, components, traces, layers).
• Hands-on prototyping experience with breadboards, perfboards, and PCB assemblies.
• Confident soldering skills — including fine-pitch components.
• Familiarity with common IoT modules (ESP32, STM32, Arduino-class boards, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of sensors, power management, and electronic debugging tools.
• Comfort working with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, hot air rework, and DC supplies.
• Experience with any EDA tool (EasyEDA, KiCad, or similar) is a plus.
• Fresh candidates with strong practical project experience are welcome.

Bonus If You Have:

• Experience designing simple PCBs from scratch.
• Exposure to enclosure design, 3D printing, or basic mechanical prototyping.
• Familiarity with IoT communication stacks (MQTT, BLE, LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi).
• Embedded firmware experience in C/C++ or MicroPython.
• Experience working with edge devices like Raspberry Pi or Jetson platforms.
